Two animals that live on Mount Everest are the Red pandas which live in the lowest climate zone of Everest and the snow leopard which lives in the alpine or sub-alpine climate zone.

Mount Everest has 3 climate zones. The first and lowest zone starts at 9,800 ft above sea level and goes to 11,500 ft and has lots of forests and farmland. The middle zones are the Alpine and subalpine zones which go from 11,500 ft up to 19,000 ft above sea level and has smaller and less plants. The highest zone the Nival zone is from 19,000ft and higher and has only snow lotuss' and high flying bees.
